The Legal Advocacy Fund is Alive and Well in California.  LAF is now part of the Educational Foundation.  Your tax deductible contributions made to LAF will continue to be used for Plaintiff support and the Gloria Weston Campus Outreach Program to create opportunities for education and discussion on topics of equity, discrimination and tenure at California universities and Colleges.                     

Just to keep you informed currently California supports several California plaintiffs: Jaureguito v. Feather River Community College;  Mansourian, et al. v. Regents of the University of California, et al.; and Wartluft v. Feather River Community College.

As I read over the plaintiff’s cases and listen to their personal stories I am amazed at their courage, tenacity, and determination to make a difference in this world because equity is still an issue!!  I look forward to working with to further the mission and vision of LAF.
